Vienna. Prague. Budapest.
Over Christmas break, some friends and I decided that because of expenses and only getting two weeks out of school, it would be more responsible to stay on this side of the world during Christmas. Turkey doesn't celebrate Christmas though, other than decorations at some of the malls, so we began searching for cheap flights to somewhere close to find a little bit of Christmas cheer. We also thought that going somewhere exciting would help keep our minds off of missing our families during the holidays. Eventually, we found cheap flights to Vienna and took off on our first getaway to Europe. It was absolutely beautiful and was a fantastic break from grading papers and lesson plans. It was also great to hear English spoken. A few pictures are below. Enjoy.
